After much protest from fans about The Muppets not being able to perform their Oscar Nominated song, “Man or Muppet,” Kermit and Miss Piggy showed up as presenters at the Oscars on Sunday.

Not only did they get to make an appearance, “Man or Muppet” won the Oscar for Best Original Song! The song was sung largely by Jason Segel and Peter Linz (the voice behind Walter), and it was written by Bret McKenzie of Flight of the Conchords fame.

The Reel Story couldn’t be happier for the Muppets and wishes them much congratulations! Don’t forget, The Muppets makes its way onto DVD & BluRay, Digital Download and On Demand formats on March 20th. More information about the Wocka-Wocka Special Edition will be coming soon.

Stay tuned, and again, congratulations to the Muppets!
